Charlie Munroe is a Canadian born painter who resides presently in Waldport, Oregon. His adolescent years were spent as his father's apprentice in sign painting and silk screening. He sold his first oil painting at the age of fourteen. As a teen he attended commercial art school, where he won first place in a regional poster contest. Charlie has worked in animated commercials, pen and ink illustrations, and cartoons. Charlie's art has been exhibited at the Reno Museum of Art as well as several cultural museums in the Tahoe/ Nevada region. His oil painting entitled, "The Washoe Stick Game" won the Northern California Artist award at the 2016 California State Fair.
